December 14th

Another busy day.

Up and out the door to the school this morning for Maddy's play.

Then dropped in on Sam for a cup of coffee and then over to Bethany's for more wrapping for the foster care ice cream social.

From there, Michael and Isaac had a braces adjustment, then back to Harvest for the big event.

It was a big success, despite the craziness of having 150ish children in one place all waiting (some of them patiently) for a gift!

Because of their protective status, I could not take photos of the kids opening gifts, but they all had a good time with their ice cream, the bounce house and opening gifts.  One thing that I wasn't prepared for were foster kids that lived in different homes from their siblings.  Several groups of kids from large families got to see siblings that they haven't seen in months.  It was special and heart-breaking at the same time.  I can't imagine being removed from my parents as a child, and then also, separated from my siblings.  My prayer is that each and every child felt the love of the Father that will never disappoint them.  Thank you God for your unconditional love.
