December 6th

Normally, I am really bad at checking the mail.

Seriously, "maybe" once a week.

Christmas time is an exception to that!

I LOVE checking the mail and getting Christmas cards from friends and family.

We have a basket that the cards go in - and we open them together at family meals.

This is the hardest part for me - because I want to rip into them IMMEDIATELY!

Also, with the boys playing sports - sometimes it is DAYS before we are all together
at the table and ready to open cards.

BUT....it's a fun tradition and the boys enjoy the stories of how we met "this family"
or "that family".

This year - the FIRST CHRISTMAS CARD was from the Smith Family
in College Station Texas.  Gig'em!

We love this family and treasure the memories of time spent in their home
as the hosts of our small group at Living Hope Church, learning from their
teachings and their example.

Merry Christmas Smith family!
